The Fine Print
Reservations are suggested. However, last minute cabins may be available. When making reservations, please specify the exact dates of arrival and departure as well as the number of guests in your party. State and local taxes are not included in quoted prices. 

Occupancy rates are based on 2 Guests for Birdsnest, Creekside & Chipmunk and 4 Guests for Riverview, Columbine, Hummingbird, Bluespruce, Aspen & Ponderosa.  Some cabins can accommodate up to 6 Guests. Each extra registered person charge is $30 per day (age two and over). For the comfort of our registered Guests any unregistered Guests will be charged $100 per day, per person. 

There are minimum night stays required. Check the availability calendar for information. If your initial dates are reserved, simply email or call for availability or if you would like to be contacted in the event of a cancellation – we keep an active waiting list. 

All cabins have fully equipped kitchens, views out picture windows that face the river, stone or gas fireplaces, and covered porches or redwood decks. For the comfort of our guests, O-Bar-O is a smoke free property.

 If reserving one of the pet friendly cabins (Creekside, Birdsnest, Bluespruce, Aspen or Ponderosa) please advise what kind of dog, age, gender and size. A pet fee will be applied to your reservation. 

Accommodation fees apply for groups reserving 4 or more cabins. Please call for policies and pricing.

Check-in and Check-out
O-Bar-O Cabins, strives to have the cleanest and most luxurious accommodations in Durango. We want to be your home away from home and experience all that we have to offer! Enjoy your stay but please be mindful there are Guests coming in after you that also expect a clean and luxurious environment.

Check-in time is between 3 and 6 p.m. If you find yourself arriving outside of those hours please call 970-259-3649 to make arrangements. Payment will be processed the day of arrival.

Check out time is no later than 10:30 a.m.

There is a three-night minimum on all cabins during the high season and for all holiday weekends regardless of season.  During the off season we offer two-night minimums.  High season is May – October.  Off season is November – April.  All reservations are subject to availability.  A four-night stay is required for groups reserving three or more cabins. Groups reserving three or more cabins are required to pay a damage deposit of $200 per cabin due at the time balance is paid. Your damage deposit will be refunded to you within one week of departure if your cabins, decks and the grounds are left in satisfactory condition. The Accommodation fee is separate from the damage deposit.

Guests are responsible for payment for all days reserved.

At the O-Bar-O we understand situations arise making cancellations unavoidable.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to cancel and receive a refund * less a $75 cancellation fee (per cabin)* If your plans change and you would like to postpone, we will be happy to carry your deposit forward for a future reservation at no charge. A 60 day cancellation notice is required on multiple cabin bookings, including family reunions, and for holidays and special events. This applies regardless if one person pays for all the cabins or each cabin is paid individually.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than thirty (30) days* notice, please understand that we will retain your deposit & charge a $75 cancellation fee. If you shorten your stay or check out early no refund will be issued.
